The friendliest host possible who went out of her way to he kind and helpful. We had to leave before the official breakfast time (we needed to get to Dunkirk for a ferry), so she prepared before and left it for us in the fridge. Brilliant.

Our overnight stay was very comfortable, and refreshing for the next day's travels. We really appreciated the Last Post service in the town of Ypres, especially as we are Aussies for whom Belgium is very thankful. We did not realise the Australian soldiers' value to this small country.

The reception and bar staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful. The location stunning ! Rooms were modern, fresh and clean and well equipped.

We took the option of having the refined dinner. It was beautifully prepared and was served in an elegant dining room. In our view the price was justified by the high quality of the food and service.
