The location was excellent because it is very close to the train station. 2 minutes at most. We were a group of 4 people so we requested a room accordingly so we could fit in. The room was very spacious and comfy, not to mention the view and the privacy for the bathroom, which is also quite large. We did not have opportunity to have breakfast because we departed early, but the dining room looked nice.

This hotel is 10/10. The view was out of this world. Rooms are gorgeous and so cosy. Staff were amazing - nothing was an issue and so friendly and helpful. Location is very central and right beside a ski lift. The room with the balcony was so worth it to wake up to the most amazing view every morning. Bar is gorgeous for some drinks and food. Ski storage area also so you are not dragging gear to your room.

The breakfast was excellent, five star service and quality. The hotel is beautiful, definitely different to any previous hotel experience I have ever had and the views amazing. I liked the pool, jacuzzi and spa. The staff was very helpful and attentive and super friendly. The hotel also arranged a pick up from the station and even supplied us with a take away breakfast on the last day, as we had to leave early.

Matthiol hotel is amazing. Beautiful location, amazing room, and waking up to the Matterhorn is unforgettable. Our room had all the amenities expected of a Swiss luxury hotel. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Saida and Mareike were very nice to us. The electric cart driver too. And the best view of the Matterhorn!

Smooth self check in and check out. Excellent communication and complete details were given to guests before arrival. Walking distance to Zematt Banhof/Train Stn and main shopping road. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Free coffee. It's cheaper than other hotels most of the time. Friendly staff. Clean, modern, decent size room with balcony. More than enough storage area and shelves in the room, and there's storage for luggage after check out for a few more hours in their ski room. Elevator. No communal fridge no microwave though.
