I stayed here on two occasions recently. The bedrooms were excellent, very spacious, both had balconies, air-conditioning. All the comforts necessary in fact. Very courteous, pleasant and friendly staff.

Highly recommended! Calm, super location, greatly maintained and very clean property with polite and efficient staff. We were met with a cordial reception and breakfast, although we turned up way early after having arrived by night train. We were given a small room to rest and refresh until ours - upgraded from what we had booked, with sea view! - was ready. Our daughter in particular loved the pool! Great place for families seeking relaxation. Food is good, too.

Everything about Ixora was wonderful and Lal, our kind and attentive host, made our stay truly special. The rooms are spotless and spacious, the veranda is perfect for relaxing under the palm trees and the food was excellent. Excellent Stay at Rams Guest House, Varkala I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rams Guest House in Varkala and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The rooms are incredibly spacious and come with comfortable queen beds, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Nestled in a tranquil area away from the hustle and bustle, it offers a serene environment ideal for relaxation. One of the highlights is its prime location, just a short walk from the stunning Varkala Cliff, Black Beach, and Odayam. This makes it very convenient to explore the local attractions without the need for transportation. The guest house also provides ample car parking space, which is a great plus for those traveling by car. They offer homemade food at an extra charge, and I must say the Idli and Dosa are a must-try! The meals are healthy, cooked with minimal oil and spices, and exclusively use coconut oil for a truly authentic flavor. The use of well water for bathing added a refreshing touch to the experience. Overall, Rams Guest House offers excellent hospitality and comfort, making it a perfect place to stay when visiting Varkala. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

We truly enjoyed this place. We visited with our baby toddler on 2 years and the staff was simply amazing and so kind to him. They helped babysit when we were eating and in the pool the staff also played with him. This made our stay very relaxing. The rooms are clean and big and the view is breathtaking. We will definitely come back if possible.
