We could not ask for a better place to stay while we were visiting Mount Fuji. The shed itself is a masterpiece and it is in a beautiful and quite area. Of course the '64 Shelby with no. 75 in the living room / garage is an absolute plus to the whole experience, but the favourite part of our stay was how our friendly host, Yoshi welcomed us and shared the whole story behind this amazing place. We hope to get back soon to visit again!

I couldn't recommend this hotel more! The staff were friendly and helpful, letting me leave my luggage the night before as I was hiking Fuji. Any questions were met with patient responses, and they helped carry my luggage to my room which was a nice touch after tired legs! The room itself was lovely with a lake view, huge for one person. It was as described, clean, and had everything I needed. The onsite onsen and dinner buffet was great, plus their free hotel shuttle buses made the stay very convenient.

I really loved the free bicycle rental service — riding around the area while seeing Mount Fuji was such a memorable experience! Everything! The hotel is in such serene setting that all your troubles simply go away. The host was super caring and welcoming. It is on Yamanako sightseeing bus route which departs from platform 6 at Kawaguchiko station. You get off either one stop before Yamanakako Asahigaoka or at Yamanakako Asahigaoka as it is likely you’ll find a taxi there. It is a bit far from Kawaguchiko station, however, it is worth a visit for the peace and quiet you get.
