Accessible Hotels in Lamu

My stay in Lamu was truly amazing. The open space and perfect climate felt like paradise. I never wanted to get up from the hammock. Kamala, Jacky, and Jamil were great hosts, offering plenty of support throughout my stay. Although I was tempted to try other dining options, I found myself obsessed with the fantastic food served here. It was an incredibly relaxing and memorable holiday, and I hope to return again in the future.

Beytsalam means hospitality. Everything was perfect, from our arrival (with a pick up from the airport arranged by the hotel) to our last day on the island. The location is very good, close to the sea and the port (for a day trip on a boat) and the city center, which makes you really experience the life of Lamu. The hotel manager helped us organise various activities, like a boat trip and a snorkeling trip and all exceeded our expectations: the crew, the food and the experience as a whole were great. He also recommended good restaurants nearby which we really loved. We always felt safe and that we had someone to rely on. The hotel itself is in a very nice building and we really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with the sea view. The room was clean and comfortable. We wished we could have spent more days there!
