We had a fantastic time at Valter & Dritas and found it to be great value! It is located in the hills, just above Theth and provides stunning views of the valley. A peaceful and tranquil environment to relax in. The guesthouse is run by the family, who are excellent hosts and very genuine lovely people. They provided breakfast and dinner throughout our time there, which was home cooked and delicious. There was a good range of food available and we enjoyed slowly exploring the menu during our time there. We had 3 full days in Theth, during which we hiked the Valbona Pass, Blue Eye Kaprre and Grunas waterfall. Valbona Pass, is a tough but stunning walk which is well worth the effort. The Blue Eye was excellent too, the water was crisp and refreshing, the perfect respite from the Albanian heat. This walk is deceptively challenging and we’d recommend getting a taxi to the drop off location. Grunas waterfall was a fun hike and slightly less demanding after the other hikes. They have fresh spring water at the guesthouse which is safe to drink, so no need to bring bottled water with you. There are cute dogs, cats and chickens around the residence. If you like to sleep in, I’d bring ear plugs as the cockerels do their thing in the mornings. Overall, we had a great time. Whether you are looking for exciting and challenging hikes around the Albanian Alps or just want to unwind and relax in the hills.

Situated 50 km from Port of Bar, Shkodra Harmony Residences offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a terrace. It was a good and big apartment with a great AC and big balcony. Also the guy and the check in help us to order some food as we were very tired after the trip. The city centre is a walking distance of 15minutes. All in all it was a great place!

It was excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. On the first night we were late for dinner and they were happy to prepare some food for us, we were very grateful.Went on the horses. If they see that you are not confident then they will allow you to ride in the ring They were very flexible. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were not super hard which was good. Shkoder city centre was a 10 minute drive. Advice would be to have a car. Can find restaurants and shops there.

Situated in the center of Shkodër, Hostel Mi Casa Es Tu Casa offers a shared terrace with free-to-use barbecue facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is available. It is such a cute and beautiful place, and the shadowy garden gives a great possibility to escape the heat. We loved the private room, it was spacious and cozy and equipped with air conditioning. The staff was friendly and helped us with everything. Would recommend this place in Shkodër! They also stored our luggage when we went for a hike.

Nicolaus Hidden Gem Villa is a recently renovated holiday home in Shkodër, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 48 km from Port of Bar. This villa deserves Five stars, and Mateo is a superhost, the best host you can ever have! The villa as displayed in pictures and even better, is a cozy home of 4 bedrooms (3 with in suit bathrooms & 1 bathroom in the living room) with a spacious living/dining room and an open kitchen. All in one floor! It has got everything you need, and the smell of bed sheets and towels is very refreshing! It is well maintained and very comfy. The garden is more of a little farm! Full of plants and fruits as well as a fenced area with chicken, ducks and topi, the little puppy! You will have full privacy and a space to park your vehicle and more, with an automatic gate! The location of the house is excellent, it’s in the heart of Shkoder. Everything you need is within a walking distance, supermarkets, restaurants and the boulevard! Mateo had made our stay very relaxing. He was always available and very helpful. Finally, this house is definitely the best place you will find in Shkoder, you can spend a long vacation with peace and comfort. Thank you Mateo for everything 🙏🏼
