Located just 5.3 km from La Sabana Metropolitan Park, BEE Suites San José - Escalante offers accommodation in San José with access to a fitness centre, a shared lounge, as well as a lift. The room is well laid out which gives an impression of space, the view with the large window bay was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable and the toiletries of high quality. Check-in was easy with no key and no need to talk to anybody. Service was fast and reliable, all through WhatsApp. The wifi was stable and high speed. They provided me additional towels upon request. The neighbourhood is super lively and the room was quiet at the same time. Room has everything you need (coffee machine, iron, ironing board, kettle, AC...) The price was very reasonable for the quality of the service / room and there were always ubers available quickly in the vicinity. The building is moder and the features of high standard. Highly recommend. Perfect if you don't want to pay a hotel or for a business stay (I checked out of the hotel to come here, and am very happy I did).

Located in Piedades, 42 km from Poas National Park, Canal Grande Lodge provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Amazing property with a wonderful view of the sunset. We had a large room, everything was very clean, staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant a few steps away was great. Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.

This place is wonderful. Surprisingly quiet and in a nice location. We stayed there three times ..the night we arrived and two other times between flights to different places. The staff were very kind.
