Agriga View B&B, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Boyle, 11 km from Ballinfad Castle, 12 km from Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre, as well as 13 km from Leitrim Design House. House was perfect for our stay. Sharron and Sean were stellar. They went above and beyond for us at every turn. They were very welcoming from the second we walked in the door. Rooms were very clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast the next morning was hearty, and there were nice home treats like home cooked brown bread, banana bread, and their own pears from the tree. Will be staying there again when I'm up that way again for sure.

Offering garden views, The Plain View is an accommodation situated in Boyle, 8.1 km from Ballinfad Castle and 10 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club. We were looking for a location that was close to Kilronan Castle for a family wedding and we had the greatest of luck to discover this gem of a holiday home. It's owned by Padraig, who is the kindest and most helpful gentleman you can imagine. When we had difficulty finding a taxi late in the evening to get to and from the venue he very generously shuttled three of our family members there. The property itself is immaculate it looks small from the front but it's very spacious inside, everything is absolutely perfect and new and all required items are already there. Basically bring your toothbrush. The land goes all the way down from the property to the lake through a very pastoral setting, some woodlands - and he has his own small cove with an oar powered longboat and a small sailboat which are available for use should you desire. There are many amenities in the area of which unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of, although we did take the boat out for a row on beautiful Lough Key and can only imagine how enjoyable it would be to have the family out on a nice sunny day maybe doing a little fishing or for a picnic on Bullock Island. The entire house has been completely renovated and is very modern. An extremely up to date kitchen - and there was even some ground coffee and a cafetiere! A more complete beautiful and perfect holiday domicile I really can't imagine. Thanks again to Padraig for making our short stay so memorable. Kevin and family

Douglas Lodge Holiday Homes, a property with a garden, is set in Keadew, 12 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club, 15 km from Ballinfad Castle, as well as 18 km from Leitrim Design House. Jim was a pleasure to deal with, he met us on arrival and provided us with food for our stay. The house was lovely and not too far outside of town either.
