The location right next to the Geysir made this Hotel perfect for a stay during our 3 day stopover in Iceland. However, once on site - the hotel exceeded our expectations! The spacious architecture of the building is very impressive with a very stylish nordic interior design. The room was nice and had a very comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were excellent - do not forget to try the Geysir Bread! The staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful. A big tanks to Georgiana who helped me get back my scarf that I forgot in the room. Wished we could have stayed there longer.

Our 3 year old son is normally scared of dogs but he loved Mowi and Katla. He played every day with them. The dogs are so friendly to childeren and we enjoyed their company so much. Thank you Heima Holiday Homes for a great stay! I would recomment this place to everyone.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, South Central Guesthouse is situated in Selfoss, 48 km from Geysir and 44 km from Ljosifoss. We arrived extremely late in the evening so contactless check in was very appreciated. We also liked that the staff had put a notice which rooms are ours. That helped a lot for us tired tourists. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Liked the art and the little interior objects. This place is someone's gem they cherish and maintain. The shared kitchen is very well equipped. Used it to prepare proper breakfast and did some meal prep for the road.

The cabin itself is cozy and nice. Honestly, it's a great place to spend the weekend. We only stayed one night but we're planning to go back soon for a full weekend. It was my birthday and I enjoyed it so much with my friends. We were 6 and it was comfortable enough for us.

Located just 43 km from Thingvellir National Park, SKOLO Apartment features accommodation in Selfoss with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as full-day security. Our host greeted us upon our arrival and gave us the most warm welcome. The apartment is large and fully equipped with everything and more you could need - including cookies in the cookie jar! We also enjoyed hot tea from the coffee bar with our first taste of om nom chocolate before falling into the cozy couch for a much needed rest from travel. Only a few blocks from the Kronan Grocery and many restaurants. All was beyond our expectation. We needed a last minute place to stay due to roads closed. We were lucky to find such a beautiful space to retreat.
