Located in Nagoya, 1 km from Nagoya Station, Nikko Style Nagoya provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The room was very nice and big! The staff are great and the amenities are also really nice. The room has a big shower and a bath and it is very convenient.

Residence Hotel Takayama Station is situated conveniently in the centre of Takayama, and offers a fitness centre, free WiFi and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Location: right next to the station, literally. Couldn't be easier. Takayama isn't that big, so you're already within walking distance of all the main attractions and many places to eat. Facilities: my room had a more or less full size kitchen, a huge refrigerator, a washing machine and multiple trash cans. This was easily the most complete hotel room of my entire stay in Japan. There is a pretty big balcony that you can access by way of sliding doors. And there is also a sliding mosquito screen to keep out bugs. Perfect! What I like about the building: While this hotel only has 1 elevator for like 10 floors, there is an open stairway inside the building that you can use. It is not limited to emergencies only. I have gratefully made use of this when I wanted to leave the hotel but there was an entire family with suitcases waiting for the elevator. Another big plus, the hotel has a secondary entrance/exit, so you don't have to pass reception when you want to get in or out of the hotel.

Situated in Kanazawa and within 700 metres of Kanazawa Castle, Tokyu Stay Kanazawa has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The rooms are simple and clean. The hotel is very well located close to many of the important sites and areas of Kanazawa. The staff very helpful and friendly. There is free coffee and tea for guests in the lobby. The washing machine in the room was a BIG plus (if I had known before coming I would have packed much lighter). The hotel is Incredibly cost effective.

Located within 1.3 km of Kanazawa Castle and 1.6 km of Kenrokuen Garden, Hotel Forza Kanazawa provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kanazawa. Super central location, just 2 mins away from the famous Omicho fish market. The staff was very friendly, we also delivered here our luggage with Yamato services without any problems. There are complementary drinks, like coffee and matcha downstairs at the machine. The room itself was also great - brand new, European-Japanese, there was a little couch to place the luggage in the corner, it was slightly a bigger room than other rooms in Japanese hotels.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Takayama, HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Good location (~15min walking from the train station) and right next to the coziest streets of Takayama. The hotel and room were both heart warming, and great place to stay.

Rooms are slightly bigger than hotels in Tokyo and were great for our family of 5( includes baby). The view was exceptional. The breakfast was awesome, a bit of western to east items and again the view was great. We got Club Lounge access which I highly recommend, quality drinks and food items for the entire family. Location was exceptional with station connected to hotel and one stop from Nagoya station.
