Set in Matsukawa, 24 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, ワールドカリーの館 すぱいすろーど offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The staff was lovely, we had dinner at the restaurant there- indian style, and it was delicious! The owner made everything to order and we had a great time. Atsu was so nice and welcoming! Relatively close to Matsumoto and Nagano, but great if you look for a peaceful and quiet location

Simply the best accomodation I have experienced anywhere! Our stay with Maki, her Mother and Kenta dog was relaxing and magical after a week in Tokyo and Maki does absolutley everything to make you feel welcome and at home with her gentle, warm hospitality, The Ryokan itself is an elegant traditional building and is beautifully kept. The amazing Kaiseki dinner and breakfasts that Makis mother presents every night are a wonderful way to experience traditional japanese food after a relaxing onsen bath. Maki was simply the best host, she even drove us up to the start of our walk trail and booked our lunchtime soba restaurant. The local area is breathtaking even in late autumn / early winter and a walk around the shrines is enough to fill a very pleasant day, Wel ove you Maki and we will be back!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, everything was perfect—impeccable service, a welcoming atmosphere, and attention to detail in every aspect. The family that owned the place was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. The quality of the dinner exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciated the effort that went into making everything just right

Centrally located in the Echo Land district, Hakuba Echo Hotel and Apartments offers comfortable rooms with mountain views. 3 bedroom apartment was really spacious. Beds were comfy and room was clean!

Opened in August 2012, B&B Hotel Hyochoan offers simple Western-style accommodations. Free in-room WiFi is available and guests can enjoy bird watching from the property’s terrace. The hosts were adorable. The room was very clean and comfortable, in a nice neighborhood. The breakfast was the best we had in all our stay in Japan.

Very nice and competent staff, excellent room with a very nice view of the lake and the personal onsen is really nice. I will come back as soon as I am in the area.

Located within 6.1 km of Matsumoto Station and 8.5 km of The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Matsumoto Jujo provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Matsumoto. The whole experience was the best one we’ve had. The ambiance and concept is great. Best feature is the private onsen in the room. The food and drinks were amazing. The staff was very helpful, as we wanted to extend our stay. Definitely worth it!

Hakuba Tokyu Hotel is an 8-minute drive from JR Hakuba Station and a 3-minute drive from Happo-One Bus Terminal. A free 2-way shuttle to both destinations is provided upon prior reservation. Enjoyed my first time in Hakuba experience. The hotel, staff and breakfast were lovely. Thank you!

Located in the centre of Shibu hot-spring area and a 5-minute drive from Yudanaka Train Station, Sakaeya offers Japanese-style accommodations. An extremely comfortable ryokan with very welcoming and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and to assist with our travel arrangements for visiting the Snow Monkey Park We really enjoyed our stay here. The baths were wonderful, particularly the one outside in the garden. Dinner and breakfast were both absolutely delicious.
