Onsen, Sauna included and open during the night. This is the dream! In addition, there is tatami in the floor giving this very nice Japanese touch! If you plan to stay 1-2 day in Nara, I would recommend to add an additional day to enjoy the hotel installation. 🤩

Located in Sakurai, 26 km from Nara Station, Hotel Nara Sakurai No Sato provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We spent 15 days in Japan and this hotel was without a doubt our best stay of all!!! The hotel is absolutely immaculate — super clean, modern, with a huge and very comfortable room! An incredible view!! Pure luxury! Fantastic bathroom products, a very large bathroom with the toilet and shower separated — truly a dream room! The staff were all amazing, super friendly, and there was free parking right in front of the hotel! Breakfast itself was a whole experience!! Delicious bread and croissants, a Japanese set with fantastic food, great coffee, fresh juices, and local teas! I could go on all day praising this hotel — it was truly incredible, and definitely one I’d love to repeat someday.

Fairfield by Marriott Nara Tenri Yamanobenomichi is located in Tenri, within 13 km of Nara Station and 28 km of Iwafune Shrine. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was great.

A 10-minute drive from Kintetsu Nara Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle, Mikasa offers open-air baths and a dining room with beautiful Nara views. On-site parking is free. We had a truly wonderful stay at the Ryokan, the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The place was so peaceful. We got a room with a private outdoor bath, and it was SO wonderful. The room was zen, and I was surprised how well we slept on the futon. We also got robes to wear, and slippers. We also had a private dinner and breakfast, which was quite a feast! It is very traditional Japanese food, some very fishy (if you like that). Everything was perfect. And, they also had a shuttle to and from the train station. Perfect!

Amazing amazing place with the most amazing staff. Staying here was an experience not just a place to sleep. It was so personal and comfortable, clean and special. Our favorite stay in over a month of traveling Japan. Wish we could have stayed longer.
