Located in Koyasan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 高野山 宿坊 常喜院 -Koyasan Shukubo Jokiin- offers free private parking. All rooms include a flat-screen TV. Our stay at the temple was fantastic! Everyone was so nice, we had a comfortable stay and very much enjoyed the temple itself and the rest of Koyasan. The morning ceremony was also great, we can really recommend everything :)

Hotel Kirinosato Takahara features outdoor and indoor hot spring baths, only a 2-minute walk from the World Heritage Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes. I seldom rate a 10 but Kirinosato Takahara deserves it hands down! No wonder it’s not easy to get a room here, because it always got booked out. There’s a lot of passion and heart put by the whole team led by Jian into making guests feel happy and comfortable - from the hospitality, attention to details, great food (muy delicioso!) and ambiance. The onsen is clean and of hotel standard. It’s not cheap to stay here but I got my money worth and more!

Located in the sacred Mount Koya area, 高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- is a historic temple and an accommodation for visitors. Great experience. Very friendly. Monks encouraged participation in morning ceremony and eve activities. Explained everything. Great room, dinner and breakfast.

Situated in Nachikatsuura, 1.5 km from Nachi Beach and 1.2 km from Nachikatsuura Sports and Cultural Center, 旅宿ときじくTokijiku offers air conditioning. Beautiful, modern and clean apartment! A lovely place with everything you’ll need and very comfortable! The host, Saturako was very nice and helpful! I would highly recommend this apartment!

Set in Nachikatsuura, 1.4 km from Nachi Beach and 1.1 km from Fudarakusanji Temple, 那智温泉 南の湯 - Nachi Manga Onsen offers air conditioning. A hot spring bath is available for guests. The onsen. was big and comfortable. The property located close to bus stop, easy to get to Shrine and Temple around, even there was two free bicycle in the property.

Situated in Hashimoto, 23 km from Subaru Hall, 仁昌堂ホテル features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Onsite parking is 1 min walk to the building. The villa is clean and contain everything I need for the stay. Great stay with my family!

Located in Katsuragi, Sanso Amanosato features 5-star accommodation with private balconies. A hot spring bath is available for guests, along with an open-air bath. This was an exceptional property in every way. Though the rooms are European style, the singular cabins, the passage ways, the main building, all have a very Japanese architectural feel. This is located about 20km from Koyasan, and sits among rice paddies just a bike ride from a local shrine. It gives you the chance to glide along on deserted roads and happen upon a major pilgramage shrine along the Kumano Kodo. The Kaiseki meal was superb, with about 10 courses of sublime cooking and service of the highest order. The staff may have been a little nervous as we don't speak Japanese, but they fared well. The presentation was, as is the Japanese way, giving a nod to the autumn season with fall flowers and leaves presenting the food as art. The Onsen were private so that couples can enjoy with eachother, three possibilities were available, with small gardens outside each. Our suite also had a huge round tub to enjoy as well. The bathroom was of exceptional design. We had a hedge of blooming flowers outside the porch doors where beautiful and unusual butterflies were feeding.

Situated in Hashimoto, Yadori Onsen Iyashinoyu features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. The Onsen! It had private hours for inn guests. I also appreciated the clean, modern cabin. Yusuke and the whole staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, even offering a shuttle to and from Koyasan twice per day. Beautiful valley. there is a bridge that allows you to get down to the rivers edge to enjoy the water.

Candeo Hotels Nankai Wakayama is set in Wakayama, within 1.7 km of The Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama and 1.7 km of Wakayama Prefctual Museum. Location was perfect, and the view and Onsen spectacular
