Located in Sigiriya, 2.3 km from Sigiriya Rock, Royal Rock Sigiriya provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. We spent 2 nights at Royal Rock and had the best time! The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

A tranquil retreat perched on hills, Heritance Kandalama offers panoramic views of the Sigiriya Rocks. The hotel is amazing. It has 3 amazing pools with a great view on the lake. It is surrounded by nature (and wild monkeys!!). The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast buffet is incredible. Finally, the staff is incredibly kind and professional. A special mention must go to Dulsha working in the Cafe Kachchan who made our stay all the more unique.

Very friendly and helpful staff who worked as a team to ensure our stay was exceptionally comfortable. The team went out of their way to accommodate our every wish. Good value for money. The all girls team was effective in creating a very quiet and calm atmosphere.

Tropicara Resort exceeded my expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering great comfort. The food was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that I looked forward to every day. Overall, it’s a perfect combination of excellent service, quality rooms, and amazing food. Highly recommended!

Set within 1.4 km of Sigiriya Rock and 4.5 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Sigiriya Palace View features accommodation with seating area. Suriya's hospitality was exceptional. He was very helpful and made every effort to ensure the well-being of the guests. He did everything he could to make the guests' stay more enjoyable. He can offer to take you to and from the tourist attractions in his tuktuk. He also explains everything you can do in Sigiriya and the surrounding area at the beginning and helps you plan your stay. The food served by Suriya's family was absolutely delicious, which is why I didn't feel the need to eat out. The room was very clean and big enough. It has a beautiful garden with a fantastic view of Sigiriya Lion Rock. I would come back anytime!

Located in Sigiriya, 1.9 km from Pidurangala Rock, Sigiriya King's Resort provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Sigiriya Kings Resort was the hidden gem during our stay in Sri Lanka. It is a place surrounded by nature and very quiet. There is a big pond that is right next to the lodge where you can see frogs and many many birds. The rooms are high standard, good and silent air conditioning, good shower with amenities, bathrobe, and a flash light. The people were extremely friendly and attentive. I could only touch a sun umbrella and within seconds somebody was there to help me. The continental breakfast was superb and we enjoyed it every day. Fresh juice, smoothie, yoghurt, eggs/bacon/beans, fruits, and sweets. We usually don’t eat dinner at the restaurant of the hotel but ended eating at this place every evening. The meals were so delicious and worth the price. Recommendation: Tom Yum soup and everything on the SKR specials page! They have multiple trips that they offer and arrange for you. We booked the safari in Hurulu. They knew exactly where the elephants were these days and we saw around 40 of them also very close up. Big thanks to our guide Samantha for the awesome experience🎉 And not to forget the lovely view to Lions Rock and Pidurangala. We took one of their bikes to make a nice 1.5h ride to the base of the Lions Rock and city center. It’s a cool way to discover the surroundings. We enjoyed everything and want to say big thanks to the owner and staff for taking such good care and making our stay unforgettable. ❤️

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Sigiri Anu Homestay is located in Sigiriya. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The stay at Anu's place was very calm and wholesome. He was very caring and took us to many viewpoints around the city and organised everything for our trip and travel. The room itself was really clean and had everything for a short stay. Besides all the friendliness, his wife cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast which was more than enough and so for the best food we had during our Sri Lanka Trip. If you have the chance, stay at this place. It's definitely worth it!

The huts have beautiful views and everything needed for a stay. The breakfast included was great with lots of fruit and mix of sri lankan and western breakfast. Amila went above and beyond to help us get tuk tuks and even providing us a transfer himself. Fantastic stay and incredible hospitality.
