Taxi into the centre only 20,000 SOM. Staff is lovely, friendly and kind and a car took me to the share taxi terminus for my journey to Qarshi. 3 restaurants close by for dinner too.

On the way back from Termez to Samarkand, he gave my mother a kilo of dates from the date palm tree in his garden. He found me a taxi and saw me off. I don't know how to thank him.
