Very clean, and had AC (which isn’t a must but definitely a great add on given the heat). The mother and daughter who ran the apartment were really lovely and helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay

There was no breakfast. The downside is that there wasn't any complimentary drinking water in the house. We got in late when supermarket was already closed. Would have been nice to have that. Everything else was very good.

The place was amazing and so clean. Patricia and her son were so friendly and helpful. They are the nicest people we met. The place is very close to the public transport and the shops, the pool and patio area were lovely to relax at we spent a lot of time there Would definitely recommend this to family and friends. If you are thinking of booking here don’t hesitate to do it we can’t wait to go back again soon.

The property was clean, spacious with all necessities and very quiet neighbourhood. I am exceptional thankful for having, basic needs, e.g having a cup of tea. The property is 10 minutes from the airport which made location perfect.

Clean, and spaceous apartment with 2 ACs (each room had one). Kitchen is equipped. Host lives next door, he was very kind giving us extra toilette paper + salt/pepper for our first breakfast 😊

The villa is very nice like home, has everything you need, very clean and comfortable bed.

The accommodation was very well kept, fully equipped, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Little personal touches like complimentary fresh flowers, plants, and food items added to the overall experience. It truly felt like home away from home, also thanks to the very friendly and welcoming hosts.

The couple who is running the B&B are lovely. Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our short stay very much. Easy to access from the airport and the breakfast was lovely.

Our stay at the Hidden Gem, The Hidden Gem is a small and very fine Bed & Breakfast in the south-east of Barbados, 50m from the coast and a good 10 minutes from the airport. You can get on the #11 bus about 500m away and explore the island without a car. The "Hidden Gem" is a very well maintained large private home. On the first floor there is a lounge area to the right, a living and dining area to the left with a large open kitchen where the owner and her staff prepare breakfast. As soon as you enter the house you will notice the lovely decoration and furnishings. This attention to detail is evident throughout the house, as well as in the garden and pool area. Our room, for example, is a tribute to Audrey Hepburn. Outside: There are several places to sit and relax. We really enjoyed our breakfast outside. Breakfast was offered to us individually: French toast, the typical Caribbean sweet plantains, but also egg dishes on request were very tasty. Our room on the second floor was quite large and had a modern bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Just to mention a small detail, the towels were nice and of very good quality! WLAN throughout the house was excellent. My wife and I will especially remember the hospitality and genuine helpfulness shown to us by Ameena & Ann-Marie. You can tell from the well-kept condition of the house, the cleanliness (!) and above all the atmosphere that Ann-Marie has lived abroad for a long time and has brought her experience and standards back to her home country and lives in this hidden gem. Thank you so much for taking us in when we needed it (our return flight was cancelled due to the fire at Heathrow).

This was, hands down, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, and we have done lots of traveling. James, his sister and his wife are very kind, welcoming, caring and try very hard to make every guest's stay a pleasure. On the first morning, James greeted us so warmly during breakfast, we immediately felt at home. The whole resort is just amazing. The location is great: right by the ocean, with a fantastic view (the best one we have ever had from a hotel!!) to the sea, in a residential and therefore very authentic (and safe!!) neighborhood, perfectly in the middle to explore the rough east and the smooth west coast. Oistins is just a short drive away. You do not need a car to stay here, even though it is certainly more comfortable to have one. The restaurant and bar staff are equally amazing. Thank you Von and Ronnie for making every evening /night a fun time. During night several security men take care of the guests' safety, which is very good. Guests, who forgot their sunscreen, can borrow one from the hotel, which is very generous. The rooms overlooking the ocean are especially great. We loved how beautifully decorated with various works of art the whole resort and the rooms are. And it is great that the rooms do not have a TV. The food in the restaurant is very good and the cocktails are delicious. Every Saturday there is live music. It is a very calm place, also suitable for single travelers, and since it is a rather small hotel, you easily find yourself talking to other guests and - best case - making new friendships. The pool is great, we could stay by the pool and watch the ocean all day long. This is a very fatanstic and happy place and we would like to thank all the hotel staff there, which really made our Barbedos vacation just perfect.!
