The hotel is not far from the bus terminal and the tourist area. Comfortable bed and spatious bathroom. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good breakfast. I had to leave early on my checkout day so was given a lunch box. Recommended!

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly warm. Huge bed, bit old furniture but functional. Breakfast was really basic but since I had tours practically every morning I skip it many times. Location is fantastic, 10 minutes walk to Teleférico Central, 3 minutes to Witch market. The hotel have huge common terrace on the fourth floor. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

I recommend to visit cable cars, the city is safe. Prices are cheap, people friendly. La Paz itself is max 2 days, then you have seen everything in the city.
The only thing that I did not like is the traffic.

We felt safe to walk during the day and night.
We felt safe to walk during the day and night. Food, clothing and haircuts are cheap. Most people are helpful and very friendly. La Paz has a few world records: highest capital city (so ensure you have Diamox to reduce altitude sickness symptoms) and the largest cable car network in the world (well worth the 12 BOB for 2 hours use as we covered 6 different routes.

We didnt have long in La Paz.
We didnt have long in La Paz. We went on a walking tour on the first day, but didn't particularly enjoy it. I think we started too early and a lot of things were not fully open. The cable cars were great though. We enjoyed these more, and it gave us amazing views of the city. We really loved the Valley of the Moon also. We went to the women wrestling show, which was lots of fun. The death road cycle was a challenge, but it was an amazing trip.
