The property is located in the quiet neighborhood on the 1st floor (no elevator) and has everything you need for short or longer stays - fully equipped kitchen with microwave and all utensils, comfy shower, king-size bed. There is a supermarket Aldi within 10 min. walk. Terminal with bus to airport and bus to Basel are located nearby (12 min. walk). The host was very friendly - he waited for us and explained everything. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend the apartment.

    Great location for airport stopover.

    Great location for airport stopover. Very basic amenities and the standard of the towels was shocking, it was like a rag in bright pink. However it did the job for us so other than the towel no complaints.

    It is a nice little town.

    It is a nice little town. I only stayed here to be close to the airport since I was attending a conference in Basel. The afternoon and first night after arrival I had a nice lunch at the bar in town and dinner at the Italian restaurant. People are very friendly and helpful at the town.

    The young Woman Chloe was very nice and charming, she took me to the airport with the shuttle and she even took my heavy suitcase. I had only one night there and my flight was at 7.00 in the morning. Breakfast buffet was ready at 4.30, when I came downstairs, so it was possible to have coffee and to eat something.

    I am French so I was happy to stay in France while visiting...

    I am French so I was happy to stay in France while visiting Basel. Because of the poor experience we had in the apartment, we moved to another one in Switzerland. We found a very charming village with beautiful architecture and nature around. Switzerland must have been wealthier than this part of France for a long time and it shows.

    If you have an early morning flight then make sure not to...

    If you have an early morning flight then make sure not to rely on Uber. Book a taxi in advance. I very nearly missed my 6am flight (which was a reschedule after a cancellation the evening before) as there were NO Ubers around at 3am. I was lucky I didn't need to check baggage otherwise I would definitely have missed it. You cannot walk to the airport from here - even though it is right next to the airport - which is massively frustrating.

    Small relaxed hotel in centre of Saint Louis, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, have stayed here on a few occasions, hotel provides a free shuttle service to Basel Mulhouse Airport. Hotel is in a central location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby plus added bonus of a bakery just next door

    That part behind the airport where we stayed was beautiful, nicely kept gardens, no traffic, beautiful houses. I would not recommend to eat in a normal restaurant though, unless it is fine dining, since the prices are way too high for a mediocre food.

    From the moment we checked in, Mary, at reception, greeted us with her friendly professional and exceptional hospitality. We were early, but Mary found immediate accommodations for us which was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Mary even escorted us to our room. A first for me. Breakfast, included in stay, was delightful too. We will of course be recommending booking for all of our family & friends, and anyone else who may travel to Basil, Switzerland. Loved our stay from beginning to checkout.
