Hotels near Mykonos Airport - JMK, Mýkonos City

Its ok, a bit of a walk to beach & main town but doable. No pavement though! Bus every half hour in either direction but if full up could be waiting for ages. Not much in the way of restaurants etc in the area, have to head into town or beach

Beautiful place. Lots of bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants with stunning beaches. We ate at Souvlaki Story in Klouvas which was great food. We used the supermarket Flora and bakery next door which was amazing. We also used following: supermarket called Bizarre which is very reasonable, a bakery called Venti and a Crepe takeaway. All other restaurants we ate in were in Mykonos town or Little Venice. Something I didn’t read was the roads are very busy. You need to be a confident driver if you choose to drive in Mykonos.

Outstanding service from all the staff. Excellent location. Stunning views. Great facilities, particularly the new Comus restaurant and two infinity pools. Room was very comfortable. Young adult children were blown away by Tropicana Beach Club (300 meters from the hotel) which hosted top class DJ's every night. Excellent security at the Club and they never felt unsafe to be there until 1am in the morning. We needed a doctor for my daughter and the hotel arranged an onsite visit from the doctor within 45 minutes from the request. Hotel then also arranged for the prescription to be delivered at the hotel - super convenient.

We loved this hotel - beautiful, clean, and with friendly people. The team made our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was well-prepared and delicious, featuring local dishes. Especially Perparim, George, Vasilina, and Magda provided a professional and unforgettable welcome at breakfast every morning. The part of Mykonos island where we stayed was very quiet at night so you could get a lot of rest and relaxation, which was great. We had like a 3-5 minute walk to a beach, a store, and a couple of restaurants. It’s like 5-7 minutes from Mykonos Town or the Old Port where a lot of the main action is so you have to get transported there. We learned that you have to have a class M license yo rent the scooters 🛴 (mopeds). The cars and ATVs are fine to rent with a standard license but the scooters require a Class M or CM(I believe). It’s Grecian law but very disappointing for us lol! We would have been better off with the scooters as they rent them for 24 hours; the cars and ATVs as well but we had a dream of zipping around on the scooter🤗 we know now and I’m sure by the next time we go— I’ll be able to get one 😉 Don’t stay In Mykonos Town if you want peace and quiet. Do stay in Mykonos Town if you want a bustling night life with plenty of dining option well into the morning.

Ano Mera was good for you want to be away from the city but still able to visit. It is only about 25 minutes from the city and the beaches but still far enough away to feel peaceful. If you do stay here I recommend renting a car or being very ok with using lots of taxis. While buses exist I was never able to figure them out. great for families or people who want relaxing nights and don't plan on going out at night.
