The owner of the house did all to make it more than comfortable, arranged a pick up from the airport, gave me a free upgrade of the room, asked every day if I need or wish something, helped to find a amazing boat tour and enable to stay in the house a few hours longer. Beytsalaam Apartments is set in Lamu, 200 metres from Lamu Museum, 400 metres from Lamu Fort, and 600 metres from Gallery Baraka. The air conditioning in the bedroom was fantastic. It was a huge bedroom with closet space, lots of room to put your stuff, and a large ensuite bathroom. The location was great, right on the waterfront, close to water taxis, etc. The staff were so friendly and were always there if you needed them. After check out, they called to inform us we left a few things in the room, we left them on purpose, but it was nice to get a follow-up call.

I stayed in 2 different rooms and both amazing. There is a shared breathtaking pool downstairs. This property is very unique a great find in Lamu. And rooms are very big. Also we booked many tours sunset cruise and old town tour both fabulous!
