The chalet was very comfortable, and spacious. Cleaned bathroom with toiletries. Owner provided all what we needed. At most privacy and jungle experience is invaluable.Amazing location with panoramic views of both mountains and Trincomalee harbour and the sea. Exceptional stay. Will recommend it to anyone expecting privacy and nature.

The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. They made sure we were comfortable and even brought up a second breakfast the first day when they realized I couldn’t eat most of what they originally brought up since I can’t eat wheat. WiFi is excellent and was sufficient for me to complete a 2 hour online meeting. There is a washing machine for guest use and bottled water as well as a kitchen although we didn’t use it beyond making tea. I dropped my headphone case and didn’t realize one bud escaped until we had checked out and got a message from the owner who was kind enough to arrange a tuk tuk to bring it out to me after a dive trip later that day. Truly going above and beyond.

Nice place and the owner is very supportive and a very decent character. Fully equipped kitchen and a large refrigerator are major plus points, for a group of people. There are a few minor improvements that could attract the guests. Kind of nice to have things like, a small tables in rooms, furniture arrangement (in the rooms). Overall, it's 10/10. 😀

I stayed here with my wife for a few nights and we really enjoyed it. The room itself was simple, not very big, but clean and had just enough space with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The real highlight though was the shared kitchen – super well equipped. They had an air grill, sandwich maker, toaster, kettle, fridge. The air grill especially was a game-changer – I grabbed fresh seafood and veggies from the market and managed to cook meals that honestly felt like restaurant quality in just 20 minutes. The location is also really convenient – close to town, Cargills 5 min walk, and just a short tuk-tuk ride to the beaches. For the price, I’d say it’s excellent value.
