Located in Luqa, the recently renovated Luqa Apartment - 5 mins from Airport provides accommodation 3.2 km from Hal Saflieni Hypogeum and 5.8 km from Valletta Waterfront. A huge apartment, extremly clean (and I mean it), with everything working perfectly. Close to the airport too. Very quiet rooms, Lidl nearby, buses to any destination (Valletta, Gozo, etc) nearby too. We were very happy with our stay here! The apartment is so big that you can do sport simply by going from the sleeping rooms to the kitchen :) We already regret leaving it!

Situated in Luqa in the Malta region, Fairwinds - Double Room with Ensuite - Luqa Airport - Self Check In & Out available has a balcony and inner courtyard views. The location was perfect for a stay in this part of Malta. Getting there at night from the Airport on foot in thirty minutes. Do not worry if on Google maps you see photos of construction sites - those are outdated photos! It is all built and paved now, nice to walk on (July 2025). Facilities and cleanliness were spot on.

During my short stay, I had the beast meal at a little bistro very close to the apartment. Other food options were available too. I hated the public transport and the fact that you have to wave to the bus driver to stop otherwise they just drive pass you. I wish somebody told me that beforehand. Also, buses are never on time and they are around 15-20 minutes late. However, they are quite frequent and you can get everywhere in 10 minutes. I liked the Sunday flea market in Birgu and the whole Three Cities area.

A wonderful place, full of history and complementing Valetta which you can easily reach by ferry. Definitely worth a visit. Go to the harbourside for a coffee or meal and and wonder at how many enormous yachts and cruisers are moored there. Who ARE all these rich people ?

this neighbourhood is quite old and noisy, there is nothing to see specifically. It is only to sleep and eat. It's is at the crossroad of almost all destination in Malta so good place for an hotel. But I would suggest to take and hotel next to Valetta or well equipped

We loved the beautiful back streets, the local people were so kind and friendly. Everyone wS do incredibly helpful. The cuisine was delicious and we loved Jeff's patitsis especially the pea. The harbour view and long board walk was breathtaking, so much history here. So much to see. Its such an incredible place. A little hidden treasure. One of the most beautiful cities in the world.

They do not intrude on privacy and are happy to give tips on tours, restaurants and shops around the island. A city where there is not a lot to do, nearly no restaurants did survive the Corona crisis. There are a few take away's, but that's about it. A cosy but small town, but nothing really to see and no restaurants to have a nice dinner.
