A short distance from breathtaking waterfalls and within driving distance of Hawaii National Volcanoes Park, SCP Hilo Hotel offers comfortable accommodations and a swimming pool. We had a quiet room, which was amazing for our 2 night stay. The staff were amazing and always attentive to our needs. For a family of 3, with suitcases, the room was a little small. However, it was super clean, comfortable, and great bathroom amenities. I would stay again for sure.

Location and price were incredible. We were on the second floor, so not having an elevator was no big deal. The sound of the ocean waves crashing was a great way to wake up. With the ocean breeze, the A/C was definitely not necessary. Close to tons of great restaurants and coffee shops. Wifi was slow in the mornings but still worked, and worked great at night. It worked in our room just fine. We didn't need to; the lobby staff was incredible; the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Direct Ocean front at Carlsmith Beach Park. Wonderful screened in Lanai with ocean view. Fully equipped kitchen and nice linens and towels. Excellent communication with property manager who was so kind to us! Perfect Hilo location! Love the Hilo local vibe and the great people there!!
