Serviced Apartments in Uvita

Good pool, shared kitchen and location close to the beach. Gaby was extremely helpful

We stayed here for four nights, in mid-March, and everything about this property and our stay, exceeded expectations. (This was my fifth time in Costa Rica and this was the nicest property I have ever stayed in.) We intentionally headed further south than previous visits, seeking a quieter, less-frequented village. We also wanted to explore Playa Ballena, which ended up being a 10 minute walk away from Uvita Paradise. When we arrived, we were personally greeted by the manager, Casey, who provided us with a tour of our apartment and the amenities. (There is secure parking, as the property is behind a large gate.) She answered every one of our questions, was easily accessible via whatsapp (after hours) and, along with the housekeepers (who did our laundry for free!!) made us feel like we were staying in a boutique hotel. The property is stunning! Pictures don't do it justice. It really is "Paradise". We stayed in one of the bottom floor apartments, with our two children. It was big enough for all four of us and the king-sized bed was, by far, the most comfortable bed we slept in during our weeks-long adventure in Costa Rica. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, but there were several restaurants just a walk away, that we frequented daily. (We highly recommend Que Tuanis Cafe!) We enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces, accessible all day and into the evening. There were other guests staying there, but there was plenty of space. The kids also enjoyed the playground, just two minutes away (walking). We met kind locals and felt like we were living "pura vida" in every way. If you are looking for a piece of paradise, with easy access to the nearby - gorgeous - beaches, we highly recommend Uvita Paradise. We will absolutely return!

Well equipped house, big. Nice swimming pool.

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful and serene. The villa had a full kitchen but the restaurants nearby were so good we never used it. The beaches were only a 5 to 10 minute drive away. You can go diving or snorkelling from Uvita beach which is 16km away.

We couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay in Uvita than at The Sutton. Located in the middle of the jungle just outside Uvita (10-15 min drive by car), it offers modern rooms with everything you could need such as a private terrace, A/C, cooking supplies and a great swimming pool. Coming “home” after a full day of exploring Uvita and Dominical didn’t simply mean to return to the hotel, but it felt like an experience on its own to enjoy the evenings on our private terrace looking out over the jungle and hearing nothing but the jungle sounds. Furthermore, Aly and Cory are the best. They live just downhill making that they are close enough to help out with anything that might come up, but “far enough” to retain the private feel of the house. You can reach out to them for anything at all and they give great (restaurant) recommendations!
