We were looking for accommodation a little past Drake Bay that was even more remote. The location is exceptional. The rooms are simply furnished. The beach is 50 meters away, the nature surrounding the accommodation, the wonderful family that welcomes you here with authentically homemade dishes. We had an unforgettable experience here for 4 days.

The location was amazing. Right in the middle of the jungle. Lot's of animals and birds arrownd. Lovely hosts, good food. Clean and comfortable room. We had cold water showers but didn't care. This is the Ideal place if you want an authentic and relaxed vacation. Not suitable for people who search for luxury... We fell in love in the stuff ❣️ had wonderful tours Which they recommended. Felt sorry to leave

Amazing location. It's a bit far from Drake Bay but you get an incredible view and wildlife every day. We saw 10-15 tucans every day. scarlet macaws and lots of green parrots flying arround. The room was very big and exeptionally cleaned. Very nice and helpful staff. The walk to drake bay is long but you see wildlife aswell and the taxi is 10$ if you don't want to walk.

We had a really lovely stay at Los Paniquines. The hosts Rafa, Estelle and Ingrid were so warm and welcoming. The little cabin was clean, spacious and comfy and the food and drinks included were absolutely delicious!! They could not do enough to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. The location was super fantastic too. Steps from absolutely beautiful Playa Caletas (with loads of other gorgeous, private beaches) along the Drake Bay hiking trail. So happy I came across this spot - it was a much nicer location to stay than staying directly in or north of the bay where we spent a couple more nights. Incredible value too! Go! Enjoy! Pura Vida!

Very pretty, comfortable, quiet, perfectly clean and beautifully decorated accommodation. The view of the sea and the birds is pleasant and I slept very well. The view and the place are stunning. The hosts are really kind and helpful, they will make sure you have everything you need! They will help you book tours, provide their own night tour (do this!) and lend you their canoe. Also be sure to include breakfast and dinner with your stay. They are both excellent cooks! The rooms are really tidy and clean, there is an excellent view from the rooftop patio and you can hear and see a lot of animals, especially at night.

The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful and helped us have a brilliant time. The hotel has its own dock which makes going on tours of the area really easy. Highly recommend getting the transfer boat from Sierpe, very easy and quick.,

    Amazing view on the beach from the balcony, especially as we arrived just at sunset - nice and clean apartment, very well equipped - Ideally located to reach any of the meeting points for the different tours - Easy access, reactive host and people who from Martina’s place who helped us check-in were super nice. It’s a bit more expensive than some other options in Drake Bay but more cosy as well.

    The food prepared by the host was a highlight of our trip, the couple running the ecolodge is super sweet and really go the extra mile to make you feel at home and comfortable. The view is absolutely stunning and you are very close to a private beach. The house is lovely, especially with the hammocks with a view at the ocean, but it’s also quite open so you won’t be alone at night. Bring spray! 🦟😅

    It was a very nice accommodation! It is directly on the beach so you can hear the ocean when you fall in sleep or waking up. The breakfast was very nice as well. Everybody there cared about me and I could write a Message if something happens or for any question. It was very nice and I would book it again! Thank you for everything!!

    The location of Sunset Lodge is located in Drake Bay, slightly outside of the small seaside town, the gateway to Corcovado Park. Daily birds arrived in the garden area. From the 2nd floor deck, we could spot many of them: toucans, tanagers, hummingbirds. The air con worked well in both bedrooms.

    Fantastic location with really helpful and friendly staff. Remote and away from the main town, which means it felt tranquil, but means you cannot eat elsewhere. Amazing view of the ocean and sunset, with private and quiet beaches all to yourself!

    Absolutely fantastic host Cristian!!! Always ready to help, advice, fulfill your needs. Simple but very tasty breakfast and the best beach. It almost seems like its a private beach, there was nobody apart from me and my wife most of the times. Loads of monkeys, lizzards and other animals in walking distance
