Beach Hotels in Puerto del Carmen

Have to say this was better than our expectations. We had done a lot of research and settled on Lava Beach Hotel due to the reviews. Firstly all the staff are great, very friendly and hard working to please everyone. The staff in the bars and restaurants are really attentive and switched on. The food is outstanding with a buffet selection to make your eyes pop… and your belly!... Soo much choice and it tastes amazing. The room was brilliant with more than you could expect. We had a suite over looking the pool and could not fault it. Very clean and packed with lots of nice touches… very luxurious! There are 2 pools and an outside jacuzzi. The bottom pool is only 0.4m in depth with 4 built in jacuzzi style loungers and definitely good fun to use. This was a very tranquil hotel especially around the pool, at times you could hear a pin drop. I think everybody appreciated that. One of the best things is they have a sun lounger policy. You cannot reserve one by dumping things on them before 10am. Either you have to be on it (or obviously in the pool), or they will remove everything. Works a treat! … There are more than enough very comfy sun loungers for everyone all in good positions! A very clean and modern hotel, yet has charm and warmth. There is a lot of attention to detail which if you watch the staff you will see, even using a spoon & fork to place the serviette's on the table. The Spa is great and shouldn't be overlooked as it has some nice facilities of its own. The 60min back and neck treatment I received was incredible.

Would have preferred to be on the 2nd floor we were on the ground floor it was not very private other than that everything was excellent 👍

The hotel and staff work so very hard to make your stay a memorable one, the food was amazing and lots of it, then of to the heated pool and well stocked gym to burn of those carbs, well done, we will return here for sure.

Our stay at the Beach House apartment was exceptional. It’s a home from home and fully equipped and comfortable apartment. The complex itself was lovely and quiet and kept to a high standard. The location was perfect for us, about a 10 minute walk to the other end of the strip such as route 66 but is under 5 euros if you want to take a taxi and they are very frequent. We loved the location as there is plenty of bars and eating places just round the corner (Yum Yums is excellent) from the apartment and 1 minute to the spar and the beach. Yaiza who was my contact for the property was most helpful and at hand if we needed anything, kept in contact before, during and after our stay which made it very stress free. I would highly recommend the property as a delightful home from home, very roomy and everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Thank you to Yaiza and her friends and family who made our stay perfect 😁.

Rooms great and more than big enough for family of four including the balcony

The bungalow is located beside the ocean and adjacent to Matagorda Shopping Centre which has lovely restaurants / bars and a Spar supermarket. The bungalow itself is beautiful and was fully equipped for our stay. Outside the back door is a lovely sunbathing area with a pool, this area is private and only used by the residents of the facility We could not have asked for a better facility or location.
