Maxine is a lovely, warm, welcoming host, who does her utmost to make her guests feel welcome. While her quirky decor in the common areas is an interesting talking point, our room was beautifully decorated in a nautical theme and the view of the harbour from our window would be hard to beat. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a private balcony with an incredible sea view – absolutely perfect for a relaxing break with my wife. The location was ideal, right in front of the beach, and very peaceful. Breakfast was available on request, even though it’s not usually offered at this time of year, which was a thoughtful touch.

Situated on Weymouth’s Esplanade, the family-run Alexandra Hotel is ideally located; with the town centre and Weymouth Harbour and the beach located across the road.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and our room was clean and had a large window with a beach view. Biscuits and water in the room was a nice touch. Location was great, very close to the promenade. We even had a package delivered and the staff ensured it was in our room waiting for us when we arrived.

Really nice apartment, well situated opposite the clock.Really good price, was only me but was cheaper than most band bs and not as noisy as being in a little room elsewhere.
