Very unique simple but fine cottage with a great view to the black sea. Amiran, our host and friend was really great. We really enjoyed every day. The house is not far from Batumi, reachable by car or railway. Amiran, we really enjoyed the time at your place, my friend. 🙂

It was very cozy and "homie" stay. We were together with my mom, not in a "high season", and the feeling was like we are visiting grandma's countryhouse 💙 Sonia is very hospitable and nice, the breakfasts were different everyday, and actually they were so big, that it was enough both for breakfast and lunch. The apartment has everything you might need for the long vacations — comfortable bathroom, kitchen, living room apart from bedrooms, terrace and so on, and also (that was important for me, as I had to do some work) — very good wi-fi connection. The sea is jn around 20 mins walking. The bus stop to get to Batumi, for instance — 5 mins walking. We were going to Batumi quite often and it was not an exhausting route, 20-30 mins riding.

The biggest advantage of this accommodation is definitely the location – in a quiet and beautiful area right by the Botanical Garden, with stunning sea views and large terraces where you can sit, enjoy a glass of wine, work, or simply watch the sea. Another great benefit is the restaurant within the complex, which serves excellent breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. It’s perfect especially for Europeans who may find the traditional Georgian cuisine a bit too heavy. As for the apartment itself, the main drawback was the lack of kitchen equipment. The kitchen is spacious – much bigger than what a family of three would actually need – but inside you only find six glasses, plates and a wine opener. If you buy a water-melon, there isn’t even a knife to cut it, and cooking is basically impossible since there are no utensils or pots, even though there is a stove and a dishwasher. Furniture was fine, cleanliness around 98%. Overall, I will definitely come back. For me, staying in the busy center of Batumi doesn’t work well. If you are looking for peace, walks, running, and nature, this is the right place.
