We spent 4 days at the Amber Lombok Beach Resort in January 2025 – and we wish we could have stayed longer. From the customer service to the cleanliness to the quality of the food at the restaurant, everything was perfect. In rainy season it can take around an hour to reach the resort from the airport, travelling through picturesque rice fields as well as small villages. When you arrive, you can enjoy the fact that there are no other hotels around and it's not a highly developed part of the island. The tranquil location was ideal for a very relaxing break. Especially with our villa's private pool (the main pool also looked very nice, but we didn't try it out). The beach was pristine and also very quiet, giving us the chance to enjoy beautiful serene sunsets. We also very much appreciated the eco-friendly measures the resort has put in place. This was a significantly cleaner and more preserved place to visit that other parts of Indonesia. Thank you to the wonderful staff and especially Rina (Guest Relations) for always taking extra effort to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. I hope to come back again one day.

The staff were all amazing. The accomodation was very clean and new. The restaurant on the beach had great food and is in an excellent location.

Very well located and designed villa. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for us. Good, comfortable beds, very good kitchen area with a lot of kitchen equipment. Staff was coming 6 days a week to clean, so it was always nice and clean. Air conditioning in all bedrooms plus fans in the main lounge room. The location is excellent, although you ideally need scooters for convenience. There are 2 great beaches nearby, first around 5min walking good for sunsets and sunbathing and second about 10min ride on scooter with great surfing, fishing, little shops and restaurants. There is also a great restaurant Segara nearby where we had almost every meal as it was that great. In general we really recommend it for families. Staff and management was very attending and colmunicated with us frequently and also did tackle quickly all the issues we had. We would love and hope we will come back.

Fantastic resort. The view was beautiful, it was nice and quiet, the staff were kind, and the food was fantastic. Kuta is close (30 min if you drive/scooter slow) and the drive is very enjoyable. If I ever return to Lombok I will definitely book here again.

When you are searching for a place where it feels like home this is the right stay. The family is very caring and tries to help with anything. The rooms are great for the price and also you only have 10 minutes to Kuta. The scooter rental was very easy. Highly recommend!!

The hotel felt luxurious from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was amazing, such a huge variety! The hotel was located a 5 minute taxi ride to kuta which the reception staff organized for us :)

Love that is located near the beach walking distance and close to kuta Central too where all the food and night life are. Other than that no complaint at all. The villa is lovely and very exclusive. Gorgeous view too.

The place is 100% recommended for families, specially with small children as there is a lot to do with them. We were incredibly surprised by all the fun things they can entertain themselves with. The small pool was so cute and amazing for little ones to keep busy for long hours of fun. The rooms are so comfortable that at times it was hard to leave them, but the beautiful blue ocean in front of the hotel makes it easier just to chill in a sunbed. The staff was really accommodating and they are used to families so they are very intuitive when it comes to young children's needs. Again, can not recommend enough!
