Location: The journey itself is part of the magic—just a 20-minute scenic seaplane flight followed by a short 5-10 minute boat ride that transports you to this paradise. The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Spa: We had the 'couple ritual'. A sanctuary of relaxation, the spa at Kandolhu offers a truly rejuvenating experience. Beautiful hotel at the beach on a calm local island. Staff are incredible nice and there is variety of tours available, so there is no chance to get bored. Snorkeling with mantas, turtles, fishing...you can do anything. SUP rental was available too and it was great to paddle around. Akeyz is very attentive and ready to help. There is a roof top restaurant and they also serve delicious coffee. Thank you for beautiful memories :-)

I had an exceptionally enjoyable experience at this guest house. The beachfront location is truly breathtaking, and the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, I went once snokelling and it was really fun. They picked me up from the harbor and driving me to the guest house in a quaint three-wheeled car. Upon checking in, they gave me a tour of the island, highlighting key buildings and guiding me to tourist-friendly beach areas. The breakfast was good, served in front of the beach in the shadow so very enjoyable. My favourite part was that at 5.30pm we went to see stingrays on the beach and then nurse sharks from the pier. it is the only island I have been to that offers this activity (for free!) it was a lot of fun. I have visited some local islands in the South Arii Atoll but Omadhoo is definitely among the most beautiful and peaceful.

Perfect location, the closest guest house to the tourist beach. The room was quiet and they cleaned it daily. Breakfast was good, and dinners had lots of different foods to try. The excursions are spectacular, especially the bikini island, sand bank (make sure to book them with lunch, they will set up a table with everything you need right on the island beach!) and snorkeling.
