Elles was a wonderful, warm and very responsive host. To connect with her and her husband was always so easy and inspiring, Even just entering the terrain en to be welcomed by them as well as all the lovely animals on the farm made all our tiredness from traveling go away. The home to stay really is a delight, and also very inspiring when it comes to thinking of innovative ways to use materials and to treat the environment in a sustainable way. But above all, this has been a home away from home for us. The perfect place to rest after a long journey, amidst the peace of a "stiltegebied" (silence area) with endless fields stretching out as far as they eye can see. Far exceeded our expectations and loved as well how Elles made us a wonderful, delicious and wholesome breakfast even though we requested it only last-minute. Thank you so much for a wonderful time! The meals were high quality and fairly priced with staff, especially wait staff being lively, helpful and interesting. We liked the location once we understood the tram system. Room functional with great views. Beer prices good as was the cost of hotel and breakfast.

The park is stunning, with a lovely little playground at the water's edge. Despite some traffic noise from the nearby main road, the park setting feels close to nature - lots of birdsong abounds! The lodge is spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There isn't much in the way of shops and cafés in the immediate surroundings, but Vathorst train station with direct trains to various towns and cities is just a short walk away.

Lovely room and a nice location. The bed was super nice and the couple renting out the the room were friendly and helpful. Most attractions are within walking distance. We were very happy with our stay.
