Pool Port Douglas is a short 6 minute drive to Macrossan Street (4kms), and a 10 minute walk to the famous Four Mile Beach. It provides guests with the perfect base to explore the nearby Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest. We had a wonderful stay in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was perfect for our family. The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.

The location is ideal—just a short walk to the marina, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and communicated well throughout our stay, which made everything easy and stress-free. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d happily come back.

The Nautilus Holiday Apartments are situated in Port Douglas across the road from the famous Four Mile Beach. Enjoy spacious self-contained apartments opposite the beach and 10-minutes from Macrossan Street. Everything was amazing! Great location, very clean, comfortable, great amenities! BBQ is a terrific addition! Hosts are very professional and attentive! Would definitely recommend!

The owners were very pleasant, accommodating, and easy to work with. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was terrific!

Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. This secluded sanctuary is nestled on a coastal headland and offers magnificent views of the sparkling Coral Sea. Wow! I read some negative views and shortened my stay based upon they. I regret that. This was such a beautiful place. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of tropical birds was so relaxing. The staff were over the top with their hospitality. I cannot recommend this place more. Do not read the negative reviews. They are simply inaccurate. One was about walking around at night which we enjoyed as it is so beautiful however the staff is always circling in a cart to drive guests around if they do not want to walk.
