We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Santorini Kastelli Resort enjoys a secluded location just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach of Kamari. Surrounded by fragrant gardens and lush lawns, the 5-star resort offers 2 swimming pools, a spa and a poolside bar restaurant. Our stay at Kastelli was just perfect. The hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean, in a great location, with great facilities. We were welcomed upon arrival, given a complimentary drink and then a short tour of the property. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite and we had spectacular views of the sunrise. The main pool was beautiful but there are also several smaller quite pools dotted around the property. Breakfast was great, lunch and drinks were great and all reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Location wise you cannot go wrong, you can exit the proprty from the rear and walk 2 mins along a well lit footpath that is perfectly safe to reach shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Don't stay anywhere else in Kamari, this property is wonderful.

Peranosa the Residency, a property with an outdoor swimming pool, is located in Agios Georgios Thalassiti, less than 1 km from Perivolos Beach, 5.9 km from Ancient Thera, as well as 9.3 km from Archaeological Site of Akrotiri. Loved everything the facilities, the staff, the location! It’s just a 10-minute walk to Paralia Perivolos beach, since the area directly in front of the hotel is more of a flat stretch. But honestly, this place was just the best new, modern, and super clean. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful spot away from the crowds, this is perfect. Our apartment was beautifully furnished maybe the only thing I would suggest is adding a microwave. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and Carolina was absolutely amazing!

The property is perfectly located in Kamari, beachfront. The staff is excellent, kind, polite and willing to help at any given point. As a family with children we stayed in one bedroom apartment, spacious enough for what we needed for a great authentic Greek vacation. The checkin and checkout are smooth, the food at the accommodation is great and available anytime. The pool is extremely cozy and clean. I would come back anytime.
