The aparthotel provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Very clean, comfortable and very well setup. Location was central but a little difficult to find at first. Beautiful apartment. Whilst we didn’t interact with any staff, the self check in process was simple. We would definitely recommend.

The 4-star ryokan features sea views and is 1.2 km from Atami Sun Beach. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We were so well looked after by our room attendants. We told them we wanted to leave early the next morning and they came to set up breakfast early at 7.30 on the dot (normal breakfast time is 8am). You really get the feel of Japanese hospitality. Our room attendant couldn’t speak English well but he explained the whole dinner and breakfast to us using google translate. Everything was delicious using regional specialties. The outdoor bath in the room was amazing. This was a really special part of our trip. I recommend arriving at the 3pm check-in time so you can bathe as many times as possible! The dinner experience was really cool. It was a full set up from 6-8pm in the room and they came to set up our futon beds after.

Situated in Kumano, within 200 metres of Odomari Beach and 4.7 km of Ubuta Shrine, Oninosanpomichi features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is around 24 km from Kumano Hayatama Taisha, 24 km from Shingu Castle Ruins Park and 24 km from Kamikura Shrine. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. Rather than repeat how wonderful this guest house is, I thought I would describe what is available to do in the area. The guest house is a 15 minute walk to Omibare train station and 25 mins to Komanoshi train station. The walk from Odomari station is through quaint back streets without traffic. Between the guest house and the Komanoshi station, are three impressive walks. (1) the Matsumoto Komoano Kodo pass over the "toge", with a view out over the coast and town (2) the coastal cliff walk with its impressive limestone rock formations (3) the direct path through the mountain tunnel with next to no traffic. From Komanoshi station it is also possible to catch a bus to Sanmaida and do the 2.5 hour hike to a lookout and through the impressive rice paddies. Also part of the Komano Kodo trails. It is recomended to get bus schedule and trail map from the information center at the Komonoshi train station. There is also a beach close by that we did not have time to explore. I recommend staying for at least 2 days.

The property is non-smoking and is set 26 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The room is great for family of five. Spacious space and rooms with the feelings of Japanese home (with digital tv provided with YouTube and Netflix). There are also onsen provided on the first floor. The owner is very friendly, kind, and helpful that we feel very welcome here. Definitely book here again if we visit Atami in the future.

Very comfortable stay with professional housekeeping management which gave us a glimpse into traditional Japanese onsen culture; the staff are very kind and helpful taking charge of everything ranging from meals to the onsen with meticulous care; the dinner was absolutely excellent: not only did they offer a great variety of Japanese cuisine but they did it in a magnificent way, serving every delicacy with great hospitality and professionalism.

Situated in Atami and only less than 1 km from Atami Sun Beach, 素泊まり宿　瑞宝荘 features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property is located 26 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, 33 km from Shuzen-ji Temple and 48 km from Mount Daruma. Lake Ashi is 28 km away and Hakone Open-Air Museum is 34 km from the ryokan. the owner so was cute and kind! although there was a language barrier, we were able to communicate and she gave us tips of things to do and see in atami. she also gave us a wee bag of snacks on departure and walked us up the street to say goodbye. the property was very comfy and we had a lovely stay!

Really nice hotel, having an open onsen was great! Room is comfortable and the free drive back to the station to avoid the climb with the suitcases was very helpful. Will be looking to come again.
