The hostel itself is basic but has everything you need. The location is incredible; it’s in a small village by the lagoon and there is a stunning 1 hour walk to a perfect deserted beach. Natalie who runs the hostel is a legend, she makes every new arrival feel like family and her energy is infectious. I loved our dance class and traditional French Polynesian group meal. I’ll always remember my Alaroots stay!

Guests can enjoy French and local dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar. EVERYTHING :) It is a bit on the expensive side, but still far from OWB prices. And basically you get one of the most wonderful beaches and snorkel-spots you can imagine. Rooms are tidy, wonderful, and it indeed feels like a Garden of Eden, or a Village. We walked by foot from the ferry - 2 minutes walk on the shore. Shops, foodtrucks nearby - the restaurant is second-to-none. Stuff are not just friendly, but incredibly funny, in a good way. We celebrated my birthday night here - I will never ever forget it :)

The home was absolutely lovely—comfortable, welcoming, and well set up for a relaxing holiday. The food we purchased from them was delicious and a real highlight of our stay. We also really enjoyed the snorkelling at the nearby beach, and there was a whale and its calf that came right in front of the property, which made the location even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Huahine!

Hosts next door, lovely couple, very helpful for information and accommodating. Kayak and snorkel available. Swimming right from the water edge. Westerly location for sunsets. Short distance to town and airport.

The apartment has a picnic area and a public bath. The beach is amazing and it is only 10 seconds from apartment. The owners are really kind and helpfull. I hope that one day we will be back.

Snorkelling and canoeing can be enjoyed nearby, while a car rental service and a private beach area are also available on-site. Loved the location! The beach in front of the bungalows was pristine. We enjoyed snorkeling in the clear water and walking down the beach. The hosts even rented us a vehicle to use while we were there.
