The Malila offers international food by the beachfront with views of the open kitchen where guests can enjoy fresh seafood dishes. The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

Room is quite, very clean and modern, bed is very comfortable, AC works well, Shower area has space and places to organize clothes, etc. The external area is the most beautiful place you can imagine to stay! The restaurant is very convenient, food is great and prices are correct. It's 5 minutes walking from the beach and few more minutes walking to the place in the main street where you can find supermarkets, restaurants, stores and massages. Although hotel is in the main street, rooms are in the interior side so atmosphere is clam, silent and peaceful. Bonus to the staff: helpful, kind and ready to solve any problem. I ordered a few packs on line to be delivered at the hotel and staff delivered directly to my room. Can't say how much I loved this palce!

The accommodation provides a tour desk and luggage storage space for guests. Super choice in Khao Lak area. Everything was super clean and equipped like a little oasis after a long journey. The opened building is also very nice, it’s great to sitting in the area in front of your room. Very kind staff. The location is perfect to discover Khao Lak. 7/11 2 mins walk, laundry 1 min walk, great places to eat within 10 mins walk. Breakfast was also good. Rooms are perfect and very equipped for a 3 days stay. Quiet area, not on the main road. Wifi was also great.
