The place is amazing. The view from the balcony was just astonishing! The staff was super nice and friendly. The food was delicious, the room was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. I definitely recommend it!

Already the photos (before we came to the place) looked perfectly. The place is amazing, I highly recommend to visit and stay there. Newly opened appartments (everything needed for a stay even if you eventually decide to cook by yourself), stylish, very spacy, clean. Not a huge hotel, just few appartments in the villa. Garden (night-lit), parking on the property, pool to be ready for this summer. Restaurant within the property, buffet breakfasts. And finally the host family, we felt as at home, we got all advice needed, spent interesting talks, been prepared a food we wished. Plus, at very competitive price.

The staff running this hotel is its gem! At the time we stayed there, we were the only visitors, and we were treated exceptionally well. The lady, who is a cook there, didn't speak English at all, so we couldn't communicate with her (only if using Google Translate sometimes), but she was very attentive to us in terms of paying attention what we didn't eat or drink at the breakfast (I.e., we didn't drink coffee, milk), and next morning she brought very delicious tea and orange juice instead. As for the tea, it happened to be Albanian herbs, that they pick up by themselves, and that lady gifted 2 bunches of that tea to us along with almond nuts! 🫶 They treated us with different kinds of jams and, what was especially thoughtful of them, is to prepare 2 sandwiches, 2 pieces of pumpkin pie and water for us to take to the airport. We left at night as our flight was early in the morning, so they made our breakfast in the evening and left it in the fridge so that we'd pick it up when we left. The man, who works as a waiter, was always helpful and friendly with us, and it was nice to have small talks with him. In terms of the hotel itself, it's simple, authentic, and cozy. The rooms are fully wooden, which gave me a nice feeling of calmness and peace. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower room is small but neat and clean. The hotel is located in a couple of kilometers from the main road and is connected with it by a tiny road. If another car is coming towards you, one of you might need to go a bit backward to find a bit wider spot and be able to pass each other. The location itself is beautiful, quiet, green, peaceful - only nature and a few houses here and there. You'd need a car to get to the nearest store. However, there is a restaurant in the hotel so you can have lunch/dinner there too or buy a bottle of water.

Great hospitality and was very kind people working there. Clean 10/10 & very comfortable. I highly recommend it. 🫶🏼

The host is amazing. I decided to chose this place based on other reviews which mentioned how involved is the host. I second that and I can say that Mr. Andersoni was very welcoming and friendly with us. It is a more than fair evaluation of the location for the price asked.

Jimmy was a fabulous host. It was the perfect final night in Albania. An authentic Albanian experience! Our room was comfortable and looked out over the farm. We ate at mirzi a zafani, a great experience and wandered home under the stars and drank raki with jimmy. Perfect!

For sure this is the place to be whenever you want some peace and quiet time. The acomodation is the best i have been so far. Johnny , the host, is THE BEST! Delicious organic fresh cooked food, only with local ingredients. Thank you for this amazing vacation, and for sure we will come back next year. Cheers!!!

Just perfect and so authentic 💜….we just loved it

Exceptionally kind hosts – Diana and her husband. Atmosphere and views 10/10, clean and tastefully decorated rooms, everything brand new. Breakfast were served with products from their own farm. I also recommend visiting the nearby restaurant Mrizi i Zanave for dinner, just a short walk away. I would love to return here again and again to experience the true authenticity and charm of Albania.

Everything was perfect. Staff were polite and friendly. We had all we needed and there wasn't any single issue to complain about. Guroal Holiday House is exceptional place and definitely worth visiting. 🥂
