The fact that this is more than just a place to stay while we visited Ypres was such a wonderful surprise . From the moment we arrived the attention to our comfort was paramount for Sofie. Both she and her husband had time to talk and gave wonderful suggestions for places to visit and to eat out. The room was delightful and so comfortable with every little extra available , such as toiletries and lovely clean towels every day. Outside of the room the quirky breakfast area was fantastic and the presentation each morning was a delight, the area also provided coffee, tea and hot chocolate whenever we wanted. The decoration of the house was so creative and the Christmas atmosphere made everything twice as pretty. My husband and I will certainly return to this unique and happy accommodation any time we visit Ypres.

Sparklingly clean and fresh with quality fittings. We felt really safe and secure in the superb tastefully decorated surroundings. Outside the rooms there is a highly pleasing sitting area and kitchen area with all the utilities and utensils. Beautiful farm animals to be seen around the property. The breakfast was delicious with nice crispy rolls and croissants etc. Katja, the host was lovely, welcoming and made us feel special. She was so helpful speaking perfect English and a has a thorough knowledge of the local geography and sights to see. She is unflappable and helped straight away when we tried to add water to the coffee machine incorrectly. It was a delightful experience and have no hesitation in highly recommending B&B Back2Front. We had a fantastic stay at Madelette B&B. Kathy is an excellent host and ensured every detail of our stay was to our liking. She gave us many recommendations for places to eat and other suggestions nearby. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and a lovely terrace to ourselves. The breakfast was also incredible - Kathy makes pretty much everything herself and it is all delicious. I particularly loved Kathy’s homemade chocolate spread! The closest restaurants are about a 30minute walk away through beautiful fields and a village.

We had an exceptional time at this clean, comfortable and charming place. Hilde was most welcoming to us and our young children. The facilities were of high standard and kept in great order. We were able to feel like guests but also feel at home which is the perfect combination. We had breakfast each morning which was varied and tasty. Much of which was home made or local which was brilliant.

We had a very warm welcome from the hosts Allain and Ann. They were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing! Great location for Leper main town and surrounding area's. Allain gave us good tips, which we very helpful. You would need a car, but I would happily cycle in the warmer months.
