What a welcoming space this was after a long day of travelling. Darren turned this smaller space into a cosy and comfortable retreat; well appointed and equipped. We appreciated the little extras in the fridge to start our day off well.

Friendly staff, lots of free food in the kitchen. Nice GYM, swimming pool, sauna. It's quiet at night, you can have a good rest. The transport interchange is a 5-minute walk away and there is a constant bus service, and there is a large pizzeria restaurant nearby. I recommend!

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the kitchen well-appointed, linens spotless and many little extra touches like tissues and high quality toiletries, tea, coffee, and bottles of water in the fridge. The breakfast buffet was always freshly stocked and attended by a staff member, and the owner came around at breakfast time to welcome and talk to guests. We also were able to reserve the free e-bikes and kayaks during our stay. This is an amazing bonus which made our stay in Victoria memorable. The Robin Hood is a classic Canadian motor hotel that has become an iconic part of the neighbourhood. Locals we met praised its commitment to high standards and great value for families. We will definitely stay there again when are next in Victoria.

Lovely property & the room was comfortable and more equipped with conveniences than I expected. (Mini fridge, microwave, kettle, cups.) The balcony was a lonely bonus to enjoy morning tea from or a drink at night. There was an outlet for EV charging. The room was delightful & clean. I would use again of traveling solo.

I recently stayed at Sweet House for four nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was very clean and stylish, with a desk, chair, and wardrobe. The bed was comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the room was cozy and inviting. The bathroom deserves special mention as it was exceptionally clean, and the complimentary use of the washing machine, laundry detergent, and dryer was a great bonus. The living room was comfortable, and the kitchen had a refrigerator and all the necessary cooking utensils. The location was excellent, with easy access to the bus station and the city center. The house was incredibly peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The hosts were a lovely couple who were very friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again and highly recommend staying at Sweet House to everyone.

the view was spectacular - I needed a quiet space to sleep and then I had a beautiful walk and went about my business. Amy the owner, was wonderful - let me check in late and accommodated my special requests. Shared small bar fridge and microwave/tea kettle/coffee pot was in the large foyer. Quiet, comfortable bed and even a heated toilet seat - was lovely!

The location is very convenient for the (Victoria / Swartz Bay) ferry. The property and surroundings are beautiful. The hosts are extremely friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
