Lovely little gem in Saas Almagell. Great breakfast, great price and great food in the evening. We will definitely be returning next year.

The moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by stunning mountain views, the quiet magic of a tiny village, and a sense of peace that’s hard to describe. Breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere was calm and intimate, and the view from the window and balcony was absolutely unforgettable. The room was newly renovated, lovley decor and deisgn from power outlets to a smart TV. The bathroom was great, and the bed was comfortable. Brrakfast included was good but not a huge selection, however enough. There is a communal area with a microwave and kettle, which is very helpful.

If you're in town to take advantage of the mountains and local sightseeing, this is the perfect place to stay in the Saas-Grund/Saas-Fee area. The woman who runs it is a gem of a human being and extremely accommodating and kind (she even helped me when I ran into some issues with the local transit system, which she didn't have to do), the rooms are simple but have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The food is also exceptional. I ate one meal at another restaurant in town that was much more expensive, but not nearly as good as the food at Pension Heino. 11/10.
