Such a comfy room and super clean. Great private balcony but also a very nice common area. Really tasty breakfast. This place has a drinking water refill which I appreciate so much, both for saving money and the environment while we are travelling- thank you! Quiet and relaxing vibe overall so you can see birds flying around, so cool. Beautiful views. I was sad to leave!

Mundo Nuevo is an excellent place to spend few days relaxing while surrounded by nature. The area is very nice and the views are stunning. Plenty of space and activities to do whatever you feel like (I recommend early morning Yoga with an impressive panoramic of Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta). Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent (they grow their own vegetables). It's about 15 minutes from the center of Minca by mototaxi, but it's totally worth it (you don't get to see these views if you stay in a property that is close to the center of Minca, so it's definitely better to go uphill).

This place is simply beyond amazing. I absolutely love everything about it — from the deep sense of peace it brings to the incredible staff who truly care about you with such heart and intention, making your stay feel genuinely special. The property is lush and green, filled with hammocks and nature. There’s a small open-air gym overlooking the river, which is perfect for morning workouts with a view. There’s also a dedicated spa room right by the river, where you can hear the birds singing and the water gently flowing — it’s pure magic. Every morning starts with yoga, and in the evenings there’s either karaoke or dance classes — the energy here is just beautiful. The food is fantastic too — breakfast and all the meals are just full of flavor and love. I came here for two days… ended up staying two weeks. From the ground to the sky, I love this place. One love. 💚

We had a very warm welcome from Aura. She was very helpful, always available and flexible. The rooms were very clean, it's one of the nicest hostels we've been to in Colombia, with hammocks, a beautiful terrace for breakfast (and lots of colibries) and even a rooftop where you have a view on the mountains and Santa Marta. For a good price you can have breakfast (fresh fruit, yummy pancakes and eggs), coffee and tea are always available. I think they can also provide lunch or dinner, just ask them. They can do your laundry for you. Location near the city centre, felt very safe, not noisy.

Hostal Paraíso Minca has a bar and a garden in Minca. The guest house features family rooms.
