This is an excellent hotel exceeding its rating. A fine example of the best of English hospitality, it sets a high benchmark which other inns and hotels should be aiming at and which in many cases do not. The evening meals were really very good. The breakfast was absolutely excellent and a very good portion size. The room was light and airy and very clean suberp. Finally the staff were fantastic, really friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend the George and Dragon, a little gem.

Quiet location, perfect stop heading North after a flight into Gatwick. Lovely pub with a restaurant and garden, we had a delicious meal and pint in the bar. Stayed in one of the apartments which was spacious, nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. Staff were lovely, really friendly and accommodating.
