There is a warm welcome and cosy feel to the Norfolk Arms. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We got complimentary breakfast baskets on Xmas Day and Boxing Day, which was a really lovely touch that we didn't expect. A bonus is having a restaurant on site, and the food was great. For us, there is no better place to stay in Glossop.

Set in Glossop, in a historic building, 20 km from Victoria Baths, Windy Harbour restaurant & b&b is a guest house with a garden and bar.

We were cycling the trans pennine trail, and this stop over was perfect. No evening meals the night we were there but we were OK to order in a takeaway (plates were also provided and washed up for us!) Breakfast was lovely (we had full English and Eggs Royale and cereal, fruit and pastries also included). Bikes were secure in the locked (and cctv covered) bar area, no problem that they, and us, were dripping wet! Didn't see a lot of the area as it was dark when we arrived, but the surrounding countryside and hills were beautiful the next day

It was a beautiful home with it’s old world charm. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable, it had everything we needed to make us feel at home. Our breakfast was delicious and of generous serves. The property was close to the town of Marple and there were lovely walks to take around the area.

Manager present downstairs. Clean and very peaceful location. Bathroom always clean. 15 minute walk from Stalybridge. 20 minutes from Aston. Restaurant 2 minutes away. Walking oark 2 minutes. Shops 5 minutes. It can't be faulted. Highly recommended.
