Ian is very helpful and friendly, he gave us some tips on what to do in Dunbar. The breakfast is excellent. We had a great stay! The BnB is about 20min walk from the train station.

Stable Cottage provided us with a truly delightful and relaxing stay. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the generous size of the cottage, offering ample space to unwind and feel at home. Comfort was clearly a priority, and we found the cottage to be exceptionally well-equipped and furnished. One of the standout features was the lovely garden, a true haven of tranquility. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and informative, making us feel instantly at ease. Their helpfulness and attention to detail greatly enhanced our experience. Great location. Edinburgh / Leith is just stunning and has an aura about it. Here, you stay far enough away from the action to where it feels peaceful and authentic but you're so close, 45 minute walk or 7-10 minute trams right into the heart of Edinburgh. It is what it is. I respected the eco awareness signs and the "you are responsible for your own deliveries" signs. Hotel knows what it is, it's a room. It's not the shangri la, it is comparatively cheap and no frills accommodation and guests should mitigate their expectations accordingly. Having said that, the small room was cosy, warm and adequate. Would happily stay again.
