Location was just a short walk from the beach and close to lots of good restaurants and cafes. The beach is an excellent location for collecting sea glass. The room was superb, clean, warm (as we visited during Winter) with tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent rainfall shower. It is an unmanned hotel but the access instructions we received on the morning were easy to follow. I was able to communicate with the property via text when I had a question. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

I'll start by saying that my partner and I travel a lot, and in recent years, we’ve done a trip across the whole of the UK. With full responsibility and a clear conscience, I can honestly say that this was the BEST place I’ve ever stayed. I’ve rated hotels 10/10 before, but after this visit, the bar has been raised much higher. The place is stunning, very well-kept, clean, and you can tell the owners put a lot of heart into their work. I’d also like to add that the owners are incredibly polite, and nice, and as a guest, I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The breakfasts are delicious and tailored to individual preferences. The room is spacious, so it’s not like other places where you’re constantly tripping over your own feet. The bathroom is wonderful, and the breathtaking view from the window is simply stunning. I’m truly impressed and recommend it to everyone! The bed was very comfortable, the bedding and towels were very clean and fresh-smelling, and all the necessary amenities were provided. I only regret that we stayed for such a short time :) The fact that they have such excellent reviews doesn’t surprise me at all! I’d also like to add that I really (that is my point of view) appreciate how the owner asked if I would like a change of towels instead of just entering the room, as has happened to me in other guesthouses.

Claudio gave us a wonderful welcome. We were thrilled with our room, which was better appointed and more comfortable than any we’d experienced thus far on our trip. The included breakfast was beautifully prepared, and way too much for us to eat—our second morning, we asked for a reduced version. Our original plan had been to stay just one night, but we extended it to two because it was such a great place to take a rest from the road—and such good value for money. Elsewhere on our trip, we’d paid more than that for far less attractive and comfortable lodgings. Just a block away is the large and lovely Albert Park, where we enjoyed several walks.

The room was in an ideal location with links to local bus routes and within walking distance to several shops and other local amenities. The room itself was spacious, with plenty of space to chill and the property had a kitchen/lounge space that was also for guests to use. It matched the listing exactly and the checking in/out process was smooth with clear instructions from the host as to where spare keys would be and the times the spaces would be free. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Stockton 😊

The place was great and far exceeded my expectations. Everything was impeccably clean and the breakfast was excellent. Each room was spacious, had a Sky TV, facilities to make hot drinks and a quiet landing area outside the rooms to sit and eat meals. Chris and Sue were really friendly and made great hosts. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt like I owed them a few moments of my time to thank them for making our stay in Hartlepool a great one.

Great location in a quiet Close but only 10-12 minute walk from the Station & many bars & restaurants, with the football ground only another 5 minute walk. Plenty of drinks choices in the room for tea, coffee & hot chocolate & you can select what you want for breakfast (cerial, toast, fruit, juices etc.) so you don't feel you're wasting food Nice surprise as it was two seperate rooms; one with the double & other the two singles, which suited our daughter; we though we would all be in together
