GermanyIt is a really calm place in the Nature. You can take nice walks in the rainforest. The stuff is really friendly. Especially Otto was really helpful. I would recommend if you are searching something to come down.

EcuadorThe staff were all helpful and nice. The dorm is just a set of bunk beds so I had a private room for the night. Warm shower. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel/hostel ever. There is a kitchen guests can use but they charge Q20 to use it. They helped me with the bus to Lanquín and transport from Lanquín to Antigua, but it would have been Q25 cheaper to book the transport to Antigua in Lanquín. And if you book a shuttle in Lanquín they pick you up and you don't have to go to the bus stop yourself.

Really nice family and helpful with all our questions.
The kitchen is excellent.
The rooms are spacious and comfy.
The location is excellent, central and close to the main road but quiet.
Good wifi
It is possible to make it to Semuc Champey from here, it's a long day but there are direct buses to Lanquin from Transportes Martínez (get there early 6ish), and the last one to Cobán leaves Lanquin at 4pm.

The hostel is nice and clean, with sitting areas indoors and in a small covered garden. There is a large shared kitchen with a gas hob and breakfast is included. It is in a fairly quiet street within walking distance of the market and about 20 mins to the national park.
