I was very fortunate that there were no other guests staying in the house and I had the whole space to myself, very spacious and comfortable, and the hostess Kyoko was so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place, close to Nara Deer Park.

The Yoshi and his daughter were very enthusiastic and welcoming. During breakfast we would often have a quick chat that was nice. The layout of the breakfast/dinner area facilitates everyone to interact during breakfast. Also, on my Wednesday morning, other residents from Ikoma came to join which got me talking to some other locals.

Very nice traditional Japanese house, conveniently located near the metro that goes to Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. Staff was incredibly kind and even lent me their umbrella when it was raining. The place was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the futons were very comfortable. I also enjoyed the Japanese traditional breakfast. I would definitely recommend it!

This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

What an incredibly special stay, and Noriko and her mother were amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and we appreciated all the special touches they added to this place. The traditional house is perfect - we loved it and were excited when we got home to spend more time in it! The morning prayer and breakfast is a beautiful memory we have, thank you!

Our stay here was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We loved everything about it. The location was beautiful, charming, and authentic. The staff went above and beyond all expectations to ensure we had a great stay. There's no words to describe how lovely they were, and the level of customer service they provided. What can I say apart from that it was perfect. Time slows down when you’re here. Yuki-san opens her beautiful home to people who’d love to catch a glimpse of Japanese countryside life. It’s a home with the warmth and comfort that you’d feel at a home. I was utterly in love with Japanese countryside, and this was truly a gem. I got to learn about little details about the place, Yuki-san and her husband renovated the place from a 110 year old house, there’s a small beautiful garden in front, many of the original architecture is preserved. If you travel during winter/spring, you’d enjoy the kotatsu. Breakfast was beautiful, looking out at the mountains. Please come, it’s amazing!!!
