Rooms and common areas were regularly cleaned, with spotless floors and tidy surroundings. The bins were emptied frequently, ensuring a hygienic environment throughout my stay. Essential amenities were thoughtfully provided, including cutlery and a kettle, making it easy and convenient to prepare tea or coffee whenever needed. Despite being a shared space, the atmosphere remained mostly peaceful at night. Fellow guests were generally respectful, and late-night noise was minimal, but sometimes, there were disturbances A dedicated person was available to greet new guests and offer a thorough orientation, which made settling in and understanding the facilities effortless.

I was very fortunate that there were no other guests staying in the house and I had the whole space to myself, very spacious and comfortable, and the hostess Kyoko was so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place, close to Nara Deer Park.

Amazing experience It is our first trip to Japan and our hosts were so kind and hospitable that we felt truly welcome. We received a lot of valuable information and suggestions. We made fresh eggs PASTA (busiate, maccheroncini, farfalle orecchiette ecc) together and spent a very pleasant time whith them and their feiends. We stayed for two nights at Natomi - what a wonderful relaxing stay after 10 days of travelling in the big cities ! We stayed in the Tatami room and it was so spacious and the futon were very comfortable. The walls are are traditional walls / doors so sound does travel however it didn’t bother us in the slightest. The shared bathrooms were well appointed and very clean! The space was so relaxing and peaceful - the staff were so very helpful and accomodating ! They helped us to find our way to a golf course when there were no taxis available. We had breakfast each day which was great value for money and dinner one evening which was delicious! The location was great for us (close to golf course) and in a small village which was very peaceful, but it was a little out of the way. We had such a lovely stay and would consider returning if / when we are back in Japan !

This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

super beautiful and serene, the welcoming was above and beyond. The host picked up our luggage from the train station and waited for us, even though we were 20 minutes late. we were invited to a beautiful morning prayer and were served a delicious breakfast. just a beautiful stay in a traditional Japanese house.

This place is one is the most magnificent that we have ever visited. Peaceful hidden gem with very hospitable hosts. Authentic interior, stunning garden view from the room and atmosphere of traditional Japanese culture made our visit very touching, cozy and unique💗

This property is a real gem. The quiet simplicity of this beautifully located traditional Japanese house is hard to overstate. The wonderful breakfast before the open sliding doors looking out over the lovingly tended garden with the mountains as backdrop will remain unforgettable. Yuki-San is a delightful host, both warm and open and discrete at the same time. Easy to reach by train from Kyoto and close to the beautiful Akame waterfalls. Highly recommended!
