One can make toast and coffee in the lounge area in the morning, which is a very nice touch. No reception, but the staff I was chatting with was very nice.

After hiking some of the GR10 in the Pyrenees, we had the pleasure of staying at Villa du Lys, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Anne Sophie, who made us feel right at home. The villa itself is incredible— beautifully maintained, and clearly cherished by Anne Sophie and her family. Their care and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the place, making for a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was a highlight, fully organic and absolutely delicious, providing the perfect start to our day. We had no issues at all being English speakers. The location is also excellent, with just a short walk to the main center. Only opened in Aug 2023, we can tell that Villa du Lys is going to be very popular in the future, and we highly recommend booking this B&B!

Danielle and Joel were the best hosts! Caring, kind and welcoming. Their beautiful suite is so thoughtfully arranged, comfortable, so clean, and has everything you might need. The gorgeous mountain views are stunning. They provided great information on places to eat dinner, and then provided a wonderful breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend a stay here. At the bed and breakfast, units come with bed linen and towels. A really interesting old townhouse that has been brought back to life with care, style and a touch of quirkiness and humour. We were fortunate to be able to stay in a larger room than we had originally booked and it was really wonderful. Large comfortable bed and great pillows (including rectangular ones which we prefer to the large square French ones). Fantastic bathroom with large shower enclosure. All done with beautiful taste - even down to the reproduction light switches but also up to date with USB sockets in the same style. Lots of interesting spaces around the house and garden where you can sit quietly and read a book. Breakfast was fresh and generous and served on beautiful old crockery with proper napkins - nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts were both welcoming and helpful - and we enjoyed their two friendly Dachshunds too. Fantastic location for exploring the Pyrenees within easy reach of the high mountain passes (Tourmalet, Aubisque, Aspin) and also Lourdes or through the Bielsa tunnel to lovely Ainsa in Spain. The icing on the cake for us was the secure parking garage around the corner - which was the perfect town centre solution for our soft top Morgan.

Skiing, cycling and hiking are possible within the area, and the bed and breakfast offers ski storage space. Leslie and Neil are exceptional hosts, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home, we highly recommend staying with them in Soupiets. The meals were also excellent.
