Great environment overall and very close to some convenience stores, pubs, restaurants and bus stops. In just 20 mins you can be in the scenic downtown of the fairytale like Edinburgh. Recommended.

Everything. The staff Eric, Lukas and Sylvia could not do more to help. Room was fantastic, Excellent beds and shower! Facilities also excellent. Atmosphere, "extras".......everything was superb. We travel a bit and 4 Friends is a place we will remember forever such was our satisfaction and memory of our stay. Thank you to the staff for all they did to help us - we were truly grateful.

The breakfast was also amazing quality. We are definitely staying here again if we ever return to Edinburgh.

Our room exceeded our expectations - it was so much bigger and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. To summarise, I have no complaints at all! Would gladly go back.

The walk-in shower fantastic and the breakfast was a wonderful continental breakfast. Adequate for us. In town we dined twice at the Bridge Inn. The food and drink were great and we had a great time plus we got a discount as guest of the Couch House. We visited Edinburgh from Uphall railway station to Waverly paying GBP 14 for 2 round-trip tickets. The Couch House itself and the surroundings are one of a kind.
